I remember owning a white colored mp3 player size of a Swiss knife, it housed some of the songs I liked back in the day. The more we meet people, and live with some of them, the more we understand that our taste in music changes in the way we also intend to enjoy it. Take for example: If you are dating a jazz artist, you would be introduced to the groovy world of jazz exploration and you may find slow jams a little bit too lento for your taste. Or love songs that you thought spoke your truth no longer holds true.

Year On Year (my own Spotify Wrapped) 2026: on-going 2025: Solo quiero un tomate. xpf 2024: Losing My Mind, a year of teatro 2023: A year of exploring European muzak. 2022: The year I allowed others to influence my song choices. I gave mainstream songs a chance. I looked at friends’ playlists and if I see something I like, I add it here. 2021: My musical style broadened. I like it. 2020: Gary Moore was on loop, and I sure had strong emotions that year when you think about it. 2019: A lot of musicals and theather in this round. Malaysian songs too. 2018: I’d call this, my year of funk. 2017: I think I was angry all year. See for yourself. 2016: Robbie Williams playing the piano, spotlit, he takes one big hit of smoke in cigarette and I die in his arms. A year for Billy Joel too! I really am an old soul. 2015: A year for Rx Bandits, Snarky Puppy, Les Mis and Al Green. Hans Zimmer helped me sleep too! 2014: I fell in love with Biboy and my music choices show. Kids on the Slope tv show was a big hit to me. 2010: Claude helped me identify my age with this playlist LOL
